Welcome drummers! We are excited to have you join a PSRS band - let's see how you play! 

Groove, Tempo, Attack! The drums are one of the most important instruments in a band, the rhythmic heart and backbone upon which all other instruments rely. While our youngest students in our Bandmates Program (8-10) do not need to have experience on the instrument, we do ask our older students (11-18) to give us some idea of their level on the drums before joining a band. 

Q: What's the first step?

A: Shoot a short video - any type of phone camera will suffice - ask your mom or dad or little brother to hold the phone - make sure the camera is rolling before you bring the rock!

Q: What should I play in my video?  

A: Nothing fancy - a basic backbeat will suffice. Play us your favorite beat or better yet - put on your favorite song and play along - we don't need to see all of your knowledge and training, we just need to see and hear you play - HAVE FUN !
